28 May 2009
Riga, Graudu Street 68Registration Form:
http://web.uni-plovdiv.bg/petya/Registration_Form_en.pdfThe rapid development of science and technologies has significantly improved access to the knowledge created by humanity. This knowledge is increasing day by day therefore every individual, especially managers, should be interested not only in creating new knowledge but also in managing it - summarizing, systematizing, accumulating knowledge and implementing it in further economic, social and cultural activities in their own country and abroad. The term information society includes not only ITS but people as well. They are the people who have been informed or the people who have not been informed yet but they have to be informed and attracted. In order to do this we must efficiently study what these people think, how they perceive one of the strategic goals of Latvia and the European Union - to create a knowledge-based society. How to communicate with people and how to attain that people effectively used opportunities provided by information technologies, as well as by other technologies, in order to educate each other, travel and enjoy culture... And what are these possibilities like?
New studies, creative exchange of opinion, masterclasses await you. The themes are connected with management and communication in business, state administration and social organizations, with the role of technologies at work and leisure. Let's mutually discover how the society is developing and how to change it!
