BACHELOR´S PROGRAMMES

Duration:   3 academic years

Tuition fee:EUR 2,000 / 1 academic year


Scholarship:CZK 5,000 / 1 month (EUR 200) from TBU
Full-time students – only 10 scholarships available! *

Government Scholarship (see information on the web page of Czech

Applicant covers:a) Tuition fee: EUR 2,000.
b) Living costs (accommodation in double rooms in the University Halls of Residence and meals from the University Refectory) -approx. CZK 5,000 / 1 month (EUR 200).
c) Medical insurance (either from your home country – International Health Insurance valid for the Czech Republic or the Czech Health Insurance – approx. CZK 10,250 (EUR 410).
d) Travel and visa expenses.
e) Any additional costs that may occur due to student’s private needs.

Requirements:a) International English language certificate (CEFR level B2 at a minimum);e.g. TOEFL, FCE, CAE, CPE.
b) Entrance exam.
c) For all other required documents kindly see the Application Form (page 3).

Tuition fee:EUR 1,500 / 1 academic year

Scholarship:CZK 8,000 / 1 month (EUR 320) from TBU
Full-time students only*

Government Scholarship (see information on the web page of the Czech
Embassy in your home country)

Extra bonus:2 flight tickets
TBU covers 1 ticket from the student’s home country to the CZ at the beginning of the Doctoral programme and 1 ticket from the CZ to the student’s home country after completing the 3-year programme.*

Czech course included (90 minutes every week)

Applicant covers:a) Tuition fee: EUR 1,500.
b) Living costs (accommodation in double rooms in the University Halls of Residence and meals from the University Refectory) -approx. CZK 5,000 / 1 month (EUR 200).

* In the event that the student does not complete his/her Doctoral studies within the standard length of study – 3 academic years – s/he will forfeit his/her claim for the scholarship and return air ticket (i.e. s/he will no longer receive the monthly scholarship from TBU, and the University will not pay for his/her return air ticket).

INTENSIVE CZECH COURSE


Duration:1 academic year (September 2009 – June 2010)
Course taught in:Czech
School fee:CZK 50,000

The course shall involve 22 hours of study/week and will be completed – finished with an examination and subsequently by a certificate issued, proving the knowledge of the Czech language.

After graduating from the course and obtaining the certificate (min. level B2 – in compliance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) the student will be offered the possibility of studying in a Bachelor´s programme at TBU in Zlín provided that s/he successfully passes the entrance examinations.

Applicant covers:   a) School fee
      b) Living costs (accommodation in the Halls of Residence in Uherské
      Hradiště and meals from the University Refectory) -
      approx. CZK 5,000 / 1 month (EUR 200).
      c) Medical insurance (either from your home country – International
      Health Insurance valid for the Czech Republic or the Czech Health
      Insurance – approx. CZK 10,250 (EUR 410).
                                d) Travel and visa expenses.
      e) Any additional costs that may occur due to student´s private needs.
