Dolphin Fund is a non-profit organisation who is co-operating with two travel organisations TUI and TraveLife. In the first place we want to create a list with ‘good’ and ‘bad’ dolphinariums so potential customers can see if the dolphinariums are doing well on nature conservation and animal welfare. In second place we hope that we can stop the illegal Dolphin hunts by making illegal dolphin trade less attractive.
TUI wants to communicate clear information towards their customers about dolphinariums they can visit. This way they want to separate the 'bad ones' from the 'good ones'.
We are planning to do that by checking the dolphinariums on the TraveLife guidelines which are consulted by Nature conservation organisations, Animal welfare organisations, scientific institutions and governmental bodies world wide.
Dolphin Fund is now looking for independent professional reviewers to execute these checks in November and December this year. We hope that you can send the attached vacancy soon to all your members/ students. Maybe they can help us by execute the interviews in the dolphinariums.
