The ProTon Europe Conference will be held on 29-30 January 2009 in Cardiff, UK. The conference is hosted by our member, University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) and will be held in the Hilton Hotel.
The theme of the sixth annual conference is “Innovation through cooperation”. The different sessions will involve a wide spectrum of stakeholders active in the innovation and knowledge transfer process, such as universities, public research centres, public administrations, industry and venture capitalists. Innovation rarely happens in a closed world but is the result of stakeholders willing to collaborate and network to respond to a market demand. During the conference, you will have the opportunity to meet successful professionals and hear about the latest supporting programmes, tools available and current opinions and positions shared by the Knowledge Transfer profession across Europe.
The programme of the conference is attached, but also available on our website at
http://www.protoneurope.org/Annual%20Conference/ where the on-line registration facility is open.
The conference is the largest event we organize in the year and the networking opportunities it offers are in the spirit of the chosen theme “Innovation through cooperation”. Please take time to visit our website and consider the interest of participating to this event and applying for membership.
