Please allow us to introduce our project „Building capacities of East-Central Europe national agencies to promote higher education outside the EU”, implemented with the support of the Erasmus Mundus Programme Action 4 of the European Union. The project is based on close partnership between CampusFrance, DAAD, the Czech National Agency for European Educational Programmes, the Slovak Academic Information Agency, and the Balassi Institute as coordinator.
The overall aims of the project are:
capacity building of the staff of both the national agencies of East-Central European project partners and higher education institutions interested in promotion of higher education outside the European Union;
to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of East-Central Europe – as a part of the European Higher Education Area;
to favour better knowledge and understanding among the partners of their respective education systems.
An additional intention is to raise awareness about the importance of the promotion of European higher education in non-European Union countries.
